Ice
Print on paper with hand-written text in ink. 24"x24". 2018
The text outside the circular image is printed. The text at the bottom of the ice image is hand-written. The final line of the poem references a story purportedly told by the Buddha to his disciples. The poetry reads:
So cold the water froze falling.
People must have died, somewhere, for the cold.
Small creatures within these cliffs certainly did.
Buddha didn't care.
Buddha doesn't care.
The bird with the kerchief flies past.
