The itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout.

Down came the rain and washed the spider out.

Out came the sun and dried up all the rain.

And the isty bitsy spider went up the spout again.

Jack and Jill Went Up the Hill

(Target audience A: children age 5 – 7

Target audience B: young adults)

Jack and Jill went up the hill

To fetch a pail of water.

Jack fell down and broke his crown

And Jill came tumbling after.

Humpty Dumpty

(Target audience:College-educated adults)

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall.

Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.

All the King’s horses and all the King’s men

Couldn’t put Humpty together again.
