Prof. Michael O'Rourke DDA-606B, Seminar II
Assignment
Blogs
Each student is expected to keep a detailed blog devoted to this course. Your blog should not be password protected (so all members of the class can access it). Your blog for this course should be separate from the blog you did for Seminar I in the Fall. However, this Seminar II blog should include within it a link to that Seminar I blog so we can readily access any material from that Fall semester if we need to.
You should make entries into your blog each week. You should make entries in response to any readings, lectures, exhibitions, homeworks, or critiques. You should also record into your blog the ongoing development of your ideas, plans, and research for your thesis project.
Your general, chronological blog will contain: Readings, Lectures, Exhibitions, Work in progress
You should have a separate section and link for each of the following three graded assignments:
Mid-term Proposal
Grading of Blogs:
Separate grades will be given for External Critiques, Mid-term Proposal, and Final Thesis Proposal.
All other aspects of your blog will be graded together at the end of the semester. I will give you informal feedback throughout the semester on your blogs, but there will be only the one formal grade at the end of the semester for all this material.
