Team Project #3

Due session 10, 11/3/16

This project is done as a team of two or three students. Teams will be assigned by the instructor.

Produce an artwork that comments on the tradition of Post-Modernism in the arts. The artwork may work within this tradition, may challenge it, may question it, may exalt it, may ridicule it – whatever you want. Whatever you do, the artwork must deliberately and consciously address the Post-Modern tradition and its significance to the visual arts. Your commentary may be focused uniquely on the Western tradition of Post-Modernism, or it may compare or contrast that with other non-Western traditions of art.

The medium of your final artwork may be anything or any combination of media. Consider combining media and/or combining art forms -- for example, combining animation + imaging + sound? Take advantage of the different skills and different backgrounds of the different team members. Whatever you do, the medium or media you choose should be appropriate to the content of the imagery.

On the due date, bring in any physical artwork and accompanying materials. Also post to your blogs any relevant files related to the project -- images, videos, sketches, links, notes, etc. Each team member should links to this material on his/her own blog. You can do this either by duplicating the files on each blog or by linking to them from your blog.
