Review of Finished Projects

Assessment by faculty of finished thesis projects will not be done in a public forum this semester. Instead, finished projects will be viewed and evaluated by faculty in faculty-only sessions. There will be one session for finished Animations. There will be a second session at the site of the MFA exhibition (Pablo's Birthday Gallery) for Imaging and Interactive students.

Review & Feedback of Unfinished Projects

Each student who has not finished their animation will present their work individually to a committee of 4-5 faculty in a 20-minute session in the DDA Conference Room. Since your projects are nearly finished, you should focus on showing your work. Keep background information and explanations to a minimum. Your work should speak for itself by now. If it does not, that will be important for you to know. Explain briefly what is finished and what is not, then show your animation. This should leave approximately 15 minutes for good discussion and feedback from the faculty.

If you have done a substantial quantity of work so far and if the quality of your work is good, you will receive a Thesis In Progress semester (TIP) in which to finish your project.
