interactive "Looker" character

At random, unpredictable moments, a large than life human figure appears projected onto the surface of the mural. It fades in from nowhere, blending with the printed tree imagery of the mural. Controlled by motion detection software, it selects one of the people who are looking at the mural -- and begins to stare at him/her. Wherever that person goes -- left, right, closer, farther away -- the Looker keeps its gaze fixed on that person, ignoring all the other people in the vicinity, and staring, staring at its target. After about a minute of this, the Looker looks away, and fades out, leaving only the printed mural imagery of the woods. Several minutes later, it may -- or may not -- reappear -- select a new viewer to start at.

Programming for the interactive Looker is by Liubo Borissov.
