An image of a Bodhisaatva, from an ancient Chinese statue. This dominant vertical both splits the composition left and right and unifies it. The terra cotta colors of the figure are picked up throughout the composition - in the oranges of the Wall Street image below, in the ochres of the beach grasses, in the oranges of the people in the column to the far right.
