Seaweed
Print on paper with hand-written text in ink. 21"x25". 2018
The poetry is hand-written in gray ink around the perimeter of the printed imagery, and reads:
Looking at thee the world fuses.
The silt of the city flows through my eye into a fly.
Buildings become color, reeds become me.
Trees are outlined against the snow that will come
as we walk the streets of the ocean floor.
A fly buzzes, my pulse stops, the globe shakes.
Looking at thee, I see the world, indistinct and clear.
