The Beauty of Noni Gone attempts to capture the mixed feelings of loss and release we can feel upon the conclusion of a love affair. The title is intentionally ambiguous: the beauty of Noni is gone; the beauty of having Noni gone.

 

Manhattan Invitation evokes the vastness, beauty and wonder of New York, as experienced by someone just becoming acquainted with the city.

 

Childhood Blue Slucid is one image of a series dealing with our perception of what constitutes two-dimensionality versus three-dimensionality. The entire image is computer-generated.

Process

These images were all developed entirely digitally and printed as Cibachrome photographic prints. The Beauty of Noni Gone and Childhood Blue Slucid were printed on matte Cibachrome paper. Manhattan Invitation was printed as a diptych, with each panel of the diptych being a Cibachrome transparency, mounted in a light box.
