
This stone sculpture was carved so there would be no "bottom" to it; it was intended to be able to rest on any of its surfaces and to be viewed from any angle.
On a flat face of the marble, I carved some machine-language computer code. The code was a short function for creating a graphic.
On the curved side of the piece, I incised lines emanating from an umbilicus-like circle.
