2018 - present

My most recent artwork is handmade artist books combining my drawings, poetry and photography.

As a young man, my first exposure to the arts was through language. In addition to my native English, I studied and read and wrote in three different languages -- ancient Greek, ancient Latin, and French. I eventually became fluent in French. As a college student I majored in English Literature and did even more reading and more writing, including poetry. Decades later, I found myself merging my love of language and poetry with the visual art I had started in my mid-twenties and to which I devoted my professional life .
